In the corner of my room, i decided to take a
stroll across the Earth and my mind flashed to the inception of life on Earth;
the beginning of mankind and all the things on Earth, that we make use of and which
we have dominion over being man. My mind got casted on countless awesome and
amazing things that came into existence after the era of shapeless and formless
Earth covered in darkness. Creation of the Earth and the fullness thereof is a
beautiful and wonderful event to contemplate on, when one takes time to savor
the goodness and loveliness of the Earth and the countless creations in it,
starting from the ones in the waters and sea to the creatures in the air and
the ones which maintain their place on land, you will have a cause to give
kudos to the creator in whose mind this great design and creations were
conceived from.
According to the Bible, it was accounted that
this great creator of the earth and the fullness thereof, also agreed with His
companions to form man (you and i) in their own image after their likeness to
have dominion over everything He created before us, this i see as a
confirmation that man, can create whatsoever he envisioned and could become
just whoever he dreams and dares to be.
The mind is the origin of great and unbelievable ideas,
dreams and visions; i call it the eye of the inner man that has the potency to
see beyond external influences, filters the impurities of the past and
magnetizes the would-be.
I would compare the mind of man to the
electronic control unit of a car which interfaces with all the engine
management sensors, adjust fuel and timing, and all other performance-related
issues real-time as you drive. Though the mind of man can do much more super
things, this only depicts that while you keep on driving (remain alive), your
mind remain at your service carrying the potential to help you stay on top of
your situation , do the impossible and turn your mess around into glamour.
Looking at the tracks of my life, i have
figured out that many of the things that springs from my mind and i decisively
followed with required level of actions always come to be, over time, at times
it’s instant but many times it tarries till maturity time which maybe
unpalatable experience if expedited.
Many have deprived themselves the joy and
happiness of live because they have wrong images of themselves building always
on their mind. That poor self image is the only thing that could be displayed
by people who allows ill-thoughts and ugly images of themselves on their mind.
Life is never good for them because they don’t see their self fit for the race
of life and this is why they have been suffering the pains and trauma, they
brought upon themselves because they only encouraged their mind to function to
self-destruct. Life will not change magically for good, until bad thought of
yourself are uprooted and the good ones are implanted.
You may feel the next guy to you is lucky and
you are unfortunate, because he is always fine and everything about him
blossoms, go check, you would see he has trained his mind to see and expect
goodness and this has been the fuel which runs him towards the path of coveting
and claiming the good things he exhibits.
Everything we become and that happens to us
is a reflection of our courage to see and believe them in our minds, that they
will come to manifest. We are products of our believe system. A man with low
self-esteem are bound to live a low life and always a looser, only men with
high self-esteem soar like eagle and live a covetable life. No one can outdo
their level of self-esteem. It’s high time, you confronted the dark part of
yourself, let there be light in you, wrestle with demons in you, break their
bones and get life out of them, so that the angels in you can sing and blow the
trumpet of victory. It’s time to live life to the fullest, no more bowing to
the force of the earth that keep threatening and intimidating you from
possessing what life has in stock for you. You must live beyond your
limitation, everything must work for your good and in your favor, see it
happening even when external influences tries to discourage you, they are
toothless dogs who will just bark to scare you. You are a lion and your challenges and limitations are the dogs barking
at you, roar and they will flee. Now i see you taking charge.
Only you have the control and unquestionable
power over your mind. It works best just for you and you only, everything
outside you, are just begging for a small space, you are the landlord and you can
reject them or allow them at any time, no one will question your action because
it’s your life. Now is the time for you to empower and encourage your mind to
attract the things you want and go confidently claiming it with the right
attitude towards life and situations that confronts you.
How long will you keep quiet, when you should
speak? How long will you cry, when you should beam with smile? How long will
you remain idle, when you should act? How long will you sit, when you should
stand up to your situation? How long will you shy away from the truth because
it’s bitter? Face the reality of life with a bold, rich and empowered mind, you
will thank yourself.
One thing i remembered God experienced after
the end of creation on the sixth day was happiness. God saw everything He has
made and behold it was very good.
Let your mind work for you; make it function
to making your future a better one. A rich mind gives a rich self image, a
great mind grants a wonderful self image. A rich and wonderful self image
attracts great people, good things, and blissful life, only this assures
happiness and fulfillment.
The moment your mind tries to imitate the mind of God
even though it was fashioned in its likeness, you will do great exploits and
live an awesome life, i am sure you will look at your achievements and you
can’t but say it loud to yourself, this is good.
For a change to take place in your life and
everything that is connected to you, it must come from inside of your mind and
the change on the inward will influence the outward which is your self-image,
people don’t see your mind, they only see your appearance, approach to life and
attitude towards everything, and they form their conclusion from the self-image
you portray to them. People will take you for whom you are, that is, that
person residing in your mind which reflects to the outside world.
A changed and better mind to a better self-image to a
better you and I to a better life and to a better world.
I encourage you to continue claiming a better
