And it appears to have worked as ex-B2K singer Raz-B has made a 'miraculous' recovery after being on life support following a nightclub attack in China.
He came out of his life-threatening coma on Sunday, and is stable, breathing on his own, smiling and responsive.
According to TMZ he is yet to be released from hospital, where he shall stay for a few more days for observation.
A representative of the star revealed doctors say it's a miracle that he survived.
The 28-year-old was smashed across the face with a glass bottle whilst making an appearance at a venue in China on Thursday evening.
The RnB favourite was there to perform onstage, and at one point stepped in to break up a fight which erupted in the crowd.
It was during the fracas he subsequently had a bottle broken on his face.
Several hours later he underwent minor surgery to patch up a large cut he sustained on his lip, but the following day, the rapper failed to wake up and one of his back-up dancers rushed him to hospital.
Raz-B's publicist had urged fans to pray for his client, saying: 'He is in a coma and needs as many prayers as possible,' Toy Jones told TMZ.
This isn't the first time the star has been severely injured.
Last year he nearly died after falling through a sliding glass door, again whilst on a trip to China to perform.
He sustained horrific injuries, including a slashed wrist.
The singer, born De'Mario Monte Thornton, lost a near-fatal amount of blood following his hazardous trip and was rushed to hospital for emergency surgery.
At the time, Raz told TMZ that he 'tripped hard inside his room... and when he tried to break his fall, he crashed through a sliding glass door'.
As he tweeted a rather gruesome snapshot of his gauged wound, he wrote: 'MAN.... Cherish life and your loved one's. You just never know. THANK YOU LORD FOR SAVING MY LIFE.'
