I Want To...........But!

Exodus 4:11-12 (NIV)

11 The Lord said to him, “Who gave human beings their mouths? Who makes them deaf or mute? Who gives them sight or makes them blind? Is it not I, the Lord? ¹² Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.”

I have heard many people say “with God all things are possible” but do they really apply this in all ramifications of their lives on daily basis in every of their thoughts, decisions, actions and attitude towards life?  There is certainly no doubt that all things are possible with this omnipotent and omniscience creator of Heaven and Earth, and all the things therein, yet, people still drown in the ocean of “I want to......But!” because they feel an incompleteness, imperfection, and brokenness in them and they have allowed i-am-not-good-enough syndrome to eat deep into their life and rob them of their glorious destiny and, a happy and beautiful life.

I understand the struggle you are going through right now. You want to take your destiny in your hand and make the best use of it. You are excited and seeking a great future and you want to have a clear view of the route that leads there. Your ultimate desire is to have clear vision of what your future maybe, how you can make it happen, and be fulfilled and happy. You have allowed fear to hold you back from achieving your heart desires and it won’t relent from holding you back your whole life, if you fail to set yourself free from its claws.

I see a bright and beautiful future ahead of you. The life you have envisioned for yourself and desired is not farfetched from you, if you can only unleash the strength and potential in you to break out from the cage where you have ignorantly imprisoned yourself. You have overstayed in this cage, i challenge you to break free from this cage and loose yourself from the shackles you have willing allowed to tie you down. What is this cage called? It is definitely the “I want to....But!” cage. You and only you have the key to the locks of this cage, unlock yourself and gain your liberty. If you can take this great step, it would be the beginning of your best days on Earth where great achievement, fulfillment and joy abound.

A lot of people have limited their growth, development, success, achievement, greatness, happiness and fulfilment, and has pinned their life to a spot, they can go beyond because they celebrate “I want to....But!” attitude.  Many are times when we would have achieved great feats, overcome tough challenges and have limitless fulfilment but we just can’t see beyond the “I want to....But!” fence we have built around our life. It is very interesting but disheartening that virtually all man wants to achieve incredible things but we dwell more on the BUT, we pay more attention to the problems, obstacles, pains, stress, difficulty, imperfection, oppression, reproach and so on, that we feel we can’t overcome, even though, the visions and dreams are worth dying for. Rose flower is known and appreciated around the world for his beauty, this is so because people look beyond the thorn bush that surrounds it and focused more on the beauty.

Let’s take a look at one man in the bible named Moses that showcased this attitude of BUT, even when he had a one-on-one encounter with the great designer of the universe. He was sent on a great mission that would lead to the freedom of Israel from the oppression of Pharaoh of Egypt, God commanded him to go and fight for the deliverance of Israel with assurance of HIM standing solidly behind them. God even gave him signs so that he could believe, still he focused more on his inability to speak well (he stammers). There and then God reminded him, how HE made us all and how HE will make all things possible for people who rely solely on HIM. What a great privilege Moses had, many of us would say, if only i can have such experience with God, i will be very bold to do anything. Hear me today, as big as God is, HE lives in you and this is all you need to know to overcome any challenge and problems of life, no matter how big it presents itself, because HE that is in you is greater than he that is in the world.

I assure you God lives in you, HE wants you to live above your excuses, fear, oppression, reproach, challenges and any form of problem that you entertain and has tagged as BUT that has held you for too long from doing and having those things your heart WANT. If you check the book of Exodus in the bible from chapter 4 till end, you would see how God used Moses (Mr. Stammerer) to lead the Israelite out of Egypt making the world know HE is above all power, principalities and kingdoms of the Earth. I say again, If God be for you who can be against you, go and do great exploits, nothing can hinder you, nothing can limit you because you have the God of no limitation in you and you carry HIS DNA to do the incredible.

God wants you to think differently from your old ways of thinking. Good thinking they say brings about good product, think like your God who made the Heaven and the Earth because HE wanted it. You are god, make your thinking materialize and make your imagination come alive, you are destined to live above the life you are living now, there is still rooms and rooms more for a better, greater, richer, higher and happier life for you.

Dear friend, get out of your “I want to....But!” cage today and come to a paradise of “I want to....I did and I’m fulfilled” today. Stay blessed, favoured and Limitless!
