Another air disaster was averted yesterday Sunday as a plane belonging to IRS Airline made an emergency landing in Kaduna, due to hydraulic problems.
“The front tyres didn’t come out on time and the pilot had to land the plane without its tyres out. There was no casualty"an airport source said.
The aircraft had 89 passengers on board.
The managing director of IRS, Yemi Dada said all passengers disembarked with the assistance of a crane before the aircraft was towed to ramp. He also said the airline's maintenance crew is checking the aircraft to see what happened.
