Caught In The Race

...Caught In The Race!

·        1 Corinthians 9:24 World English Bible
Don't you know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run like that, that you                 may win.

·        It is the thesis of the great psychoanalyst Victor Frankl that man can endure any hardship as long as he can find meaning in the experience. Incidentally, as a survivor of Nazi Concentration Camps he was in a position to know. Thankfully, most of us are not tested in such extreme conditions. However, the principle is the same. Human beings cannot live without meaning. Depression is the natural outcome of living a life that is bereft of purpose.

It is my pleasure to congratulate you for having an opportunity to participate in the race of life, i know how hilarious it may sound to someone reading now but i say again, congratulations for having an opportunity to journey through this interesting and adventurous life where you have a chance to write your name in the heart of man and the sand of the Earth, where your deeds can be remembered, positively impacting many lives even when you are no more and had gone six-foot under the ground.

You are not caught in the race of life by accident; it was planned, purposed, fashioned, designed and packaged. So, regain your strength if you have lost it; sharpen your sight if it is getting blurred; get back on the track and take your position. Keep moving, don't stop running, oh! your legs starts to ache then jog; feeling wearied, can't go on jogging then walk; i know your foots hurt and it's hard to keep on walking then crawl, someone say how could you tell me to crawl, do you want my knees to peel? Oh you have forgotten so soon, that was your first style of moving toward your goal, let your knees peel if it would, soon it will heal and i know you wouldn't want to stay too long crawling because you can do it again by standing up, start to walk, jog then run and run with unimaginable speed. Whichever state you find yourself, enjoy the pain and the struggle, just keep moving, it's worth it, never to break down when you have more miles to cover.

We live in the world of negativity. No one gets through life untouched, unmarked and unscathed. We all have turbulent periods and difficult situations. Yes, everyone has extremely difficult situations. And as pleasure-seeking and pain-avoiding creatures in this life on Earth, when we are in difficulty or face difficult challenges we tend to lose hope, shrink and break down. Regardless of devastating and challenging situations life throws at us, we are designed to triumph and use our situations as pivotal spring to better state of life.

When the going gets tough, the tough gets going. Ready to face and overcome intimidation, oppression, rejection, hatred, dissapointment, reproach, stigmatization and form of problem that comes your way because you are far too blessed and favored to be stopped from living a triumphant life. Tell your situations "i am far too invincible" to be disqualified or lose out from the race of life, because i am ready for the surprises on the way and everything will work in my favour and not against me.

The sweetest and fantastic mystery of the race of life in which you are caught in, is that, the race is not to the swift or to the strong but to them that patiently, determinedly and passionately move on and focused on living a remarkable life and have a inspiringly super life ending. Don't you think It would be really wonderful and motivating that you finish your part of the race of life worthily so that people who live after you can tell and learn from the super story of your life well lived. How loving would it be if your life can begin to inspire and motivate people even now that you are still in the race, that is why you have to see beyond your limitations, confrontations, and ill-encounters in life because there is always a prize that awaits you after every phase of the race you cover.

Imagine yourself having new meaning to living, you can make this happen by understanding the purpose God has for you. He wants you to live the best life you ever dreamt of and that's why you have to key into His purpose and plans for you. I know HIM (God) to never sleep nor slumber and you carry His DNA, that's why it is very important you wake up from your slumber, get back on the track and aim for the prize that awaits you. The prizes that awaits you are endless, they are joy, happiness, victory, prosperity, fortune, wealth, success, great achievement, self-confidence, freedom, fulfilment and many more you desire.

There are some sweet and good distractions in the course of running your race that you must be watchful of, highlight and put under control. They are simply yourself, people and things in your surroundings. Firstly, you have to learn to be control of your attitude towards life, your ways of reasoning and display of character. Secondly, do not let people push or drive your life unneccessarily. Choose to only spend meaningful and productive time with your colleagues, friends, acquaintance and loved ones that will not let you lose your focus, pace and pursuit in the race of life. Lastly, there are a lot of things today around us that steal our precious time, the likes of internet, music, movie, party, clubbing, games e.t.c. These are good and sweet distractions, that can make one have some temporal delays that cause setbacks and shortcomes, they are really good for our life but must be given appropriate and justified time.

I challenge you to run a good race and get the prize, live a purpose-driven life so that you can have a meaningful life full of joy, victory, triumph and all that you heart desire. You still have a chance to make the world tell a super story of you when you are gone. Keep going! keep moving! You are excellently fashioned for this race.

God Loves You
