You Have All It Takes To Succeed!

You Have All It Takes To Succeed!

Most of us are standing in a river and dying of thirst.
        -      Cathy Mateo

I am very happy that you are reading this message at this time. I just want you to open your eyes and look around with a very keen look, and then you would see that the world around you is full of endless possibilities only waiting for you to tap into it and become the great achiever your generations have long awaited.

If we could stop complaining and crying and start thinking about possibilities, we would begin to see that we have incredible possibilities all around us. Incredible possibilities are within our reach. They are all around us. Yet so many of us are simply standing around crying and complaining about how bad life is. No! Stop and think! Be resourceful. Be proactive. Make it Happen.

Realize that no matter what the problem is, you have something within you that is powerful and capable of turning the situation around, if you would just use it. It’s in you! You are incredible person, who has overcome other problems to get where you are now. Don’t stand in the river and die of thirst. Drink in the possibilities. Drink in the positive energy. Drink in the victories. Drink in the resources and in the wonderful possibilities all around you and start expecting them to become realities. It will take some new ways of thinking and some reinventing; but like the caterpillar that becomes the butterfly, you too can fly.

I once read of a wonderful story of a woman that her short-comes turn a positive outcome when the way she reason changed, she utilized the opportunities life presented to her and there was a fantastic turnaround for her. Diane Rossi was given up for adoption when she was seven years old and bounced around from home to home and school to school. She never even went to high school, and by the age of twenty-one was a divorced mother, homeless and jobless and living in a car! While going through trash, she found a beat up copy of a book called “The magic of believing: The science of setting up your Goal and then reaching it” by Claude M. Bristol, that gave her a new perspective in life. She read the book and realized that she could make things better if she had faith and took responsibility for herself.

Diane got a job and struggled to pay for an apartment and childcare. One day she heard some of her neighbors arguing who could clean up some doggy doo. She said, “I’ll do it, if you pay me!” They did! She thought about it and decided to get some posters printed advertising this new service concept. She posted them around the neighborhood and the phone started ringing, it kept ringing. In fact it has not stopped ringing. Diane Rossi has gone on to build a very successful company called “Have a Doggie, We’ll doo!” She has a number of employees who ride around in her “Doggie Doo” vans, and she even started a national news letter called “The inside scoop!” There have been challenges and there have been problems, but she realized that opportunities rarely come in sweet, nicely wrapped packages. You must be resourceful and open to new ideas, keep your eyes open and use all of your potential!

None of us change our yesterdays, but ALL of us can change our tomorrows.

Good timbers does not grow with ease; the stronger the wind, the stronger the trees.
-          J. Willard Marriott

If thou faint in the time of adversity, thou strength is small.
-          Proverbs 24:10

Keys to turnaround
  1. First you must decide whether you are going to live or die! Is this a problem or an opportunity to do something new?
  2. Take action, big action, and look for new roads to your goal. Every Exit is also an entrance to world of new possibilities.
  3. Have faith! Faith in God, in yourself and in the possibilities.
  4. Don’t forget that setback is not the end of the world; it’s the start of a new beginning.

Note this:
Every morning in Africa A Gazelle wakes up
And knows that it must run faster than the fastest Lion
Or it will be killed and eaten.
Also every morning in Africa a Lion wakes up
And knows that it must outrun the slowest Gazelle
Or it will starve to death.
It doesn't matter whether you are a Lion or Gazelle…………
When the sun comes up, you’d better be running.
