Usher's Son nearly drowned In pool

Usher's five-year-old son Usher Raymond V was brought to the ICU in an Atlanta hospital Monday (August 5) after an accident in the singer's pool. According to E! News, the "Yeah" singer's son nearly drowned while trying to get a toy that was stuck in an underwater pool drain as stated in an Atlanta police report.

His aunt and a housekeeper unsuccessfully tried to free the younger Usher, whose arm was also caught underwater. The former Voice coach was not home at the time of the incident but arrived when two male contractors were giving Raymond V CPR and medical personnel arrived on the scene.

Raymond V is the oldest of Usher's three children with ex-wife Tameka Foster. The accident comes a year after their late stepson Kile Glover, died after being struck by a jet ski on Lake Lanier.
Fortunately, his son is "conscious, alert and breathing" while recovering at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite. Tameka is said to be at the hospital with Usher as well.
