Kanye West has made his disdain for press but for his potential mother-in-law, he can make some exceptions. For the last appearance of Kris Jenner's six-week talk show stint, Mother Kardashian sat down with the 32-year-old to discuss his relationship with her daughter Kim, as well as the couple’s two-month-old daughter North West.
Us Weekly reports the rapper is “really bringing it” in his interview with Jenner, allegedly saying that he is “so in love” with Kim and that he considered “playing sports,” a playful dig about his girlfriend’s dating history with professional athletes Reggie Bush and Kris Humphries. West was also said to discuss his controversial relationship with the press in his sit-down, which was taped on Monday (Aug. 19) in Culver City, Calif.
Kim, who did not make an in-person appearance during her mom’s trial run, did call in via satellite to congratulate Jenner on landing the gig.
"Hey mom, I just wanted to say congratulations on your new show," she said. "I'm sorry I couldn't be there in person, but I'm just loving life a little bit too much at home right now."
West’s interview on the Kris Jenner Show is scheduled to air on select Fox stations Friday, August 23.
