It's been five years since his last solo tour, so there's no telling what Yeezy's got up his sleeve.
Kanye West hasn't been on a solo tour since 2008's Gold in the Dark Tour, and a lot's changed in five years. Not only does 'Ye have a ton of new material to perform — he's since dropped My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, Watch the Throne with Jay Z, Cruel Summer with G.O.O.D. Music and his latest Yeezus — but Kanye has changed as an artist and person.
With only just a few hours before the Yeezus Tour kicks off at the KeyArena in Seattle, Washington, we here at MTV News wonder: What does Kanye have in store?

Big Screens
It's
hard to imagine a more elaborate set design than the one fans saw
during Glow in the Dark. In 2008 Yeezy performed against a spacey
backdrop, on an angled stage, moon rocks all around, but these days he's
more into minimalism. It's unlikely that Kanye will deliver anything as
busy as he did five years ago, but it's a safe bet that the DONDA
screens will be big and bright.
You Ain't Got No Yeezus In Your Serato?
Obviously
Kanye is on tour to support his latest work, but with such a deep and
dynamic catalog, it will be interesting to see how he mixes in his new
age Yeezus material with the sped-up soul he delivered on his debut. Out of the 10 Yeezus tracks, we're guessing he'll do about five, including the album opener "On Sight" and the heart-warming "Bound 2."
Rants Of Epic Proportions
At
this point it's really unfair to label Kanye's outbursts as rants; we
actually like to think of them as performance art. During his Watch the Throne stop
in Philadelphia, he thanked the city for ex-girlfriend Amber Rose and
in February he blessed a London crowd with a tirade against
corporations. We don't know what Yeezy is going to say next, but you
know it's going to be G.O.O.D.
Fashion Killa
When
the God Yeezus first descended upon us he turned us all on to pink
polos and Ralph Lauren knit sweaters, but he's since evolved. With the Watch the Throne tour
he gave us the Givenchy leather kilt and during a performance
in Dubai earlier this year he rocked a feather mask and white
straitjacket.
What's next? We don't know, but we have on our leather jogging pánts in anticipation.
